What is Thermochemical Conversion?
Thermochemical Conversion - or TCC for short - is a thermal (heating) process that breaks down solid materials like coal, biomass, or even certain types of waste into various products.
Thermochemical conversion can be used in various ways:
TCC encompasses a range of processes from simple direct combustion to thermochemical liquefaction. In direct combustion, there is the production of heat which can be used to produce electricity or provide homes and industry with heat.
However, without sufficient filtration, combustion create large GHG-emissions. Other - friendlier - methods include pyrolysis, gasification, and liquefaction, to name a few. These methods can be used to turn waste materials into new synthetic polymers, energy sources, hydrogen sources, and even fertilizer. SoualiGas works with industry partners to find the right fit for the job.
We are excited to announce that we are currently in the process of establishing new partnerships to enhance our technology offerings. Stay tuned for updates as we work to bring you innovative solutions!
